Max Payne Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 SOLD! Thanks for your interest. Jimmy Spurs 18” Taylor Trapper 1873 rifle purchased for my wife, which she shot for 1 ½ years. The stock is cut 2 inches & is perfect for a female or younger shooter. It's a 357/38. It has some cart dings on the right side stock, but is perfect otherwise. We paid $2,150, plus shipping & all the other stuff. We’ll sell it for $1,600, reduced due to the cart dings on the right side. It has a Sure-Hit medium sight over a Marbles sight. I’ll have it with me at the Georgia State shoot, & EOT if I still have it by then. Or, I'll ship from my FFL to yours in the CONUS at my cost. Blackhawk Henry normally shoots a Marlin. After our monthly match at Cherokee Cowboys this weekend he picked it up & shot 10 bullets in 2.45 seconds. He could go much faster with a couple of runs, but I think that shows it can run as fast as just about anyone can run it.
Chili Pepper Jack Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 So your telling me BlackHawk was only half as fast as your lovely wife? If it was in .45lc I would take it off your hands Max.
Max Payne Posted May 2, 2018 Author Posted May 2, 2018 Hmmm. If Ophelia could run 10 rounds in 1.23 seconds, I think I'll ask her for some instruction! Especially, since I think the world record is 1.7 seconds? With your extraordinary skill, I think you could probably get 45's to work in it. Might have to use a hammer though.
PaleAleRider Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 I just bought Geargia a rifle at the FL shoot. Why didn't you tell me you were selling it then?
Max Payne Posted May 2, 2018 Author Posted May 2, 2018 Sorry, Pale! Didn't know you were in the market for one. Bad timing on my part.
Sassy Kitty Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Good evening Max i am brand new to SASS.
