Trigger Mike
I have often toyed with the idea of buying a Lemat but doubt I ever will and then one day saw a converted 1860 Army and right after that a Lemat and thought a covered Lemat with the same set up as it is in cap and ball sure would be a good home defense pistol. J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE
yeah, it would make a dandy club! There were Lemat cartridge revolvers btw, I held one of the first 10 built. They were not commercially successful. You can find the patent and an occasional picture online. 1869 and 1877 patents were issued IIRC but my work site won't let me look up guns
Abilene Slim SASS 81783
Ed Harris shoots a conversion in the HBO series Westworld. Apparently it was very $$$$ to do. Alpo
In the 50s there was one of the (many many) western TV shows where the hero sheriff, Johnny Ringo (no relation) used a converted LeMat. 9 rounds of 45 and a 410 shotshell. The extra 45s and the shotgun ALWAYS played a part in the episode. Wore a special holster, similar to Josh Randall's.
