The Ford Mustang was officially unveiled by Henry Ford II (shown below) at the World's Fair in Flushing Meadows, New York, on this day in 1964. It looked great and ran well when I bought it, but I didn't know enough to understand the real problems with it. It sat in my parents' garage for several years, while I planned on restoring it. I decided to sell it to somebody who would instead of letting it rot, and used the money for college.
