Trigger Mike
Often you hear people refer to the muddy elephant in the room. Should someone wash it off? should they call the elephant tamer to send it back to the circus or zoo? should it be ignored, hoping it will go away on its on and not bother anyone on the way out? Just what should be done about the muddy elephant?
Count Sandor, SASS #74075
Perhaps we could ask if the 600 lb. gorilla in the room would mind washing the mud off the elephant... CS

BS What happens when the mud is removed and you find out you now have a PINK elephant in the room???
Alpo
Never heard that, myself. Heard "elephant in the room", but never "muddy elephant".
Festus G Lonetree
Don't wash the mud off that elephant, it actually serves as camouflage for pachyderms. Mud is essential for the Elephant of Surprise.
Sparky Nelson
How about let's ask the elephant what he thinks? He's got a stake in this too.
