Smoken D Posted March 7, 2018 Share Posted March 7, 2018 In 2014 the K.C. Royals honored veteran Christopher Morton at one of the games. Chris Morton again served our country as a police officer on the Clinton, Missouri police department. Sadly I must report that Officer Christopher Morton was killed in the line of duty when responding to a 9-1-1 call last night. Two other officers were shot but no serious injuries. Clinton is a small town and to this date exactly 7 months ago another Clinton officer was shot and killed in the line of duty. They have not gotten over that killing and now have another.
