Friends, it appears the liberal gun crowd that has infested Chicago has a loud voice. They want to ban high capacity magazines and "assault" rifles. The definition of an "assault" rifle depends on which liberal you ask.

Contacts in the State of Illinois buildings in Chicago and Springfield have told me that the Governor's Office does keep track of phone calls it receives on the issue. A veto by the Governor my be our last ditch effort. If Illinois SASS members, and those who visit Illinois would call the numbers provided, urging to oppose bans on high capacity magazines and semi-automatic rifles.

Thank you.

Be surprised of how many people don't vote in Illinois. If they went out and did vote Illinois might be a different state and have Chicago no longer dictate to the people of Illinois. Springfield is just a token anymore. Sad, but true. Have been surprised how many farmers, and rural voters think they're votes won't make a difference.  MT

Howdy,

Ive seen with my own eyes how busloads of people can show up at a location

and overwhelm the local folks.  They shout and cheer and sing and locals

cant even be heard.

Locals get pushed to the center of seating areas and are surrounded by folks

from who knows where.

Its an intimidating experience.

Looks 'good' on the news.

Golly - don't vote?  My old precinct in Chicago always voted 150% of registered voters.  It always corrected your vote so it went to the right party should you vote for someone they did not want.

I moved to Missouri where I might get a vote to count.
