They want to ban high capacity magazines and "assault" rifles. The definition of an "assault" rifle depends on which liberal you ask. Contacts in the State of Illinois buildings in Chicago and Springfield have told me that the Governor's Office does keep track of phone calls it receives on the issue. A veto by the Governor my be our last ditch effort. If Illinois SASS members, and those who visit Illinois would call the numbers provided, urging to oppose bans on high capacity magazines and semi-automatic rifles. If they went out and did vote Illinois might be a different state and have Chicago no longer dictate to the people of Illinois. Springfield is just a token anymore. Sad, but true. They shout and cheer and sing and locals cant even be heard. Locals get pushed to the center of seating areas and are surrounded by folks from who knows where. Its an intimidating experience.
