I don't know about you, but this seems backwards to me. We can play this "if and but" game, or "Trump may mean this or that", or "we'll have to wait and see". I frankly don't want to hear any of it. When people make blatant, deliberate statements such as this, I take them at their word. We are afforded due process period. Circumventing due process and rule of law were what Obama and Holder were known for. More of the same?

Or are we going to turn a hypocritical blind eye?

I think we're seeing his true colors now.

I remember during the campaign him saying(in a supporting way) "stop and frisk".  Another blatant violation of constitutional rights.

I wonder what other rights he doesn't really support?

He is not a lawyer therefore due process was not the first thing on his mind. As president it SHOULD have been as that IS kind of important... I think he was just talking off the cuff like he does, blurting stuff out that ain't gonna happen.
