My favorite used to be the Quarter Pounder with Cheese. Then McDonald’s all became “stores” not restaurants and their food went to sh...! It wasn’t that great to begin with.

That’s because they do not cook the burgers on site. They no longer fry the onions for QP. Everything is made elsewhere then shipped in. The only things they cook on site are the deep fried items.

Anyone else think that guy looked a little “beatleish”?

Dad took us to McDonald’s back when they opened a store in 1959 in Raleigh N.C.  We thought it was the greatest thing since peanut butter. As PR stated they changed a lot. I avoid the place today. I’ve tried numerous times over the years. My wife likes them, and my shooting partner Cedar River Kid eats there all the time. I guess it’s a matter of taste. I’ve gotten to the point that I don’t eat any fast food at all. If I want a burger I make one. Cheaper and tastes better. At least to me. No putting down those who like it

Howdy:

Honestly, while Big Macs are OK once in a great while, I frankly prefer Sauerkraut laced with caraway seeds, Polish Sausage and a plate of Pierogies fried in butter with onions and a dollop of sour cream.  Better for you I think.  JMHO.

However, a roast pork with kartofflelklosse and sauerkraut and boat loads of gravy will work just as well. :-)

Not in the US they don’t. Overseas, things are different. ;)
