How to-Spin your six shooter

Very cool. Actually got out a pistol and tried. Worked. Thanks

I view pistols and revolvers like motorcycles. On motorcycles I keep both wheels on the ground. Pistol and revolver grips are like tires on a bike to me. The grips stay in the grip of my hand when in use.

Truth be told I tried spinning one of my old Vaqueros a long time ago, just like I used to do my cap guns as a kid. My Vaquero got away from me and bounced across the floor of my bedroom. That was that. No more foolin' around with those. And No, it was not loaded.

I also tried with one of my Vaqueros. It spun and dropped right on my foot. Damn near broke a toe...

I did the exact same thing first time I tried spinning a ruger. I think it’s only colts that spin correctly and don’t break toes

OK, I'm a wet blanket, a killjoy, a grumpy old man, and probably an a***ole, but spinning violates all four of the basic safe gun handling rules.  For what it's worth.
