Found a single trigger without the cross bolt that reminds me a lot of a bss or skb, but no idea what it would be worth or if it would be good for typical match use. Thanks! Quote
FriscoCounty Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 JP Sauer still exists. However, most likely what you have is a pre-WWII shotgun. The value will vary, depending on the model, level of engraving, and wood used. If you do intend to use it, be aware that it was chambered for 2-1/2" shells. It is possible a previous owner extended the chamber for 2-3/4", but you will need a chamber gauge to tell. If it is still 2-1/2, I suggest you leave it so and shoot appropriate length shells. Using longer shells can result in dangerous over pressure. MagTech brass shells can be used.
