LOL!

Thanks!

It's just practice.

I'm really rusty right now because I don't have an SAA, and haven't done that in years-but I want to start up again as a soon as I can get another of those revolvers.

When I first started I would do it on soft carpet 'cause I was dropping that thing all the time. One time (I was wearing shorts) it fell, spinning, and gave me a good gash on the shin!

If you're gonna start, I suggest one of those solid aluminum SAA things just to get the feel of it. I found that the 4.75" barrel, 45 colt Single Action Army is the best, hands down for that. Perfectly balanced!

After a little YouTube and 30 min, I now have a very slow and crappy version of your spinning haha.

One of the guys I met when I first started was talking about some of the reenactment / show stuff he does.  Said he spent 3 days doing skits / shows before a match and almost twirled into the holster out of habit doing it all weekend.  Apparently R/O's don't appreciate twirling.  Something about safety or something like that.  (kidding).

That's great!

You'll be spinning like a pro in no time!

2 questions.

1.  Since it came up in another thread, how do you pronounce your name?  Bees lee?  Bizly, bezly?

2.  Maybe you're spinning too fast, but I don't see you with any bisley's in those pictures.  So where did the name come from?

Biz-Lee

Wasn't using a Bisley to spin, though I had a Bisley in my left holster. Was spinning a Single Action Army in .45 Colt, with a 4.75" barrel.

I took the handle Bisley Joe because my first guns were a pair of Bisley revolvers made by Cimarron-in .45 Colt with 7.5" barrels, and my name is Joe. Things got rough at one point and, sadly, I had to sell both of them, and my Marlin.

I now use a pair of open tops in .45, with 7.5 inch barrels, and am possibly going to start using a pair of 1851 Navy percussion revolvers. Looking to get another SAA in 45/4.75" barrel to get into spinning again.

I see James Henry Parker jumped on it. OR did the deal fall through?

I haven't taken it because I just put a pistol on layaway for my wife/anniversary-coming up. Good deal though! Thank you!

I'd take it, but between the bus I just bought and having to pay that other pistol out of layaway, I'm a bit constrained at the moment.
