Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L
OK, we're shooting in the rain yesterday, ground is flooded, boots leak (of course) and there is a North wind building; last stage one of the posse comes up and says be bought a marlin much like mine and it comes with 'hood' over the front sight. Does it have to be removed? I said I'd 'ask the Wire' yes, would be great if I got the caliber and whether carbine or rifle but I'm old, was cold and wet so I didn't with this limited info does anyone what to give a try answering it cheyenne
The Original Lumpy Gritz
You 'may' remove the hood, if you like. No rule requires it to be used...... I run mine 'hood-less'. OLG
Tyrel Cody
Page 35 says it's allowed: "Beach style front sights and sight hoods are allowed." So I don't think he'd have to remove it if he didn't want to.
