Michigan Slim Posted January 8, 2018 Share Posted January 8, 2018 My daughter , Kaya and I snuck out for an evening of ice fishing. It was awesome! What a bite tonight. We stopped keeping them but caught probably 50 more like these. Had a good friend at the cabin last year. We were watching Kaya shoot. In her 20's and finishing up college, she coined the phrase, "We interrupt this education due to an elk tag!" Children are truly a blessing...... The hunt, trap, and fish including getting up before school to run trap lines. They are also not afraid to clean what they take. Latest FB photos show them learning how to trap, skin, and properly stretch beaver pelts. Yep. Daughters and Grand Daughters that love the outdoors are very special indeed.
