I don't remember the numbers but I liked the square one with little legs and one side said "This Side Toward Enemy"

All this debate for nothing!

We don't need no stinking automatic rifles!

AK47: Your rifle can be used by any two bit nation's most illiterate conscripts to fight elite forces worldwide.
AR15: Your rifle is used by elite forces worldwide to fight two bit nations' most illiterate conscripts.

Mosin Nagant: Your rifle has fought against itself and won every time.

I have a Russian Mosin Nagant and I only shot it once. It was pretty awesome! I just bought some stripper clips for it. I plan on shootin' it some this year!

42mm red dot reticle set to 100 yds,  5w green dot set at 250 yds,  .5w red dot set at 50 yds,  and an extra bright SureFire tactical light so's I don't get scared of the dark!

The drum carries enough "Bad Guy Repellant" to disperse a good sized crowd.  Works in all climates!  A lot like the Energizer Bunny!!  ;)

I have yet been able to warm up to either, I prefer turn bolts with wood stocks.

Nothing wrong with that at all. It was several years after I had retired from the military before I considered an AR, and then purely because it was a good deal. I had a Mini-14 for years before that though. However, for going out to the range, taking camping, or what have you, I prefer a lever action all day. And yes, I like wood over plastic, except on an AR, since I know someone will post a pic of one here shortly...

I had sold all 3 of my AR’s. I regret selling the last one. So I decided to duplicate the build with the exact same components. I bought a lower receiver for the build. I have found that it would be cheaper just to buy an upper than to build one. Weird.

I agree that these days you can save money using complete upper with an AR15 build.  I used a complete upper from Brownells for my 300BO build.

Wanted to ask, but just remembered. You do have the firing device assemble, right?  MT

The only thing wrong with that chart is that after a day at the range you have a desire to watch Алекса́ндр Не́вский .

The only reason I got interested in the AR platform is because I saw the way the CA Legislature was moving and decided I should get a couple before they were banned completely.  Now I just need to finish converting them to be "featureless" before the end of June.  It's great - by making them "featureless" I can go back to the designed magazine release.  Go figure.

Had to throw that challenge flag, didn't you?

That, because of the grip, would have to be registered in CA as an "assault weapon" before the end of June.

Here is a featureless, CA compliant AR

Neither of these are mine, by the way.

I'm going with this style of stock:

Davidson Defense Featureless AR-15 Stock For Hunting Type AR-15 Rifles (DOJ California Approved)

Yeah, think I will pass.

I don't know...has a nice Steampunk quality to it.

But, I do prefer wood and bolt action.  Only in modern rifles though.  Things like the 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser, the 7 x 57 Chileno Mauser, Mod. 1 Mk. III* SMLE.

ADDED:

7 x 55 Schmidt-Rubin.

Needs more brass.

I do like the Lee-Enfield.

Add a couple of gears and a dial or two, and you're onto something.
