It's a beautiful morning

 I thought I'd do a little practice with my new to me river police service six this morning.  

   I couldn't be happier.  . This gun was carried a lot but shot very little.  It doesn't even have full turn lines yet.    It points like a dream and is smooth as glass in da. I've never shot a gun this smooth . It definitely beats anything new we've seen in the shop by Smith & Wesson  or even ruger.  300 rounds this morning from 5 to 75 yards and I can count my missed shots on one hand. 

  To top it all of its a lovely 15° and softy snowing.  Days off just don't get better.  Next on the agenda taking the horses out for a little exercise
