I would hope that at least some of us would remember the old Marty Robbins song, "Big Iron."  The story of an Arizona Ranger who was after an outlaw named "Texas Red" armed with "a big iron on his hip."   It is never said *what* the big iron was, but I have read that the song was insipred a custom made .45 SAA that had the orignal grips replaced with larger ones and an 8" octagon barrel that was made from a Marlin rifle.  A "big iron" indeed.   Anyway, with the tune running i
