Sedalia Dave Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 New California Ammo Regs Already Giving Vendors Trouble Seems that the CA DOJ has failed to create a process for stores to obtain the required license. If you are surprised raise your hand. On a related note: If you are considering buying ammo out of state better not do it if you have ANY paperwork on file in CA that hints at you having firearms. They can tie license plate readers to the cameras that monitor traffic in and out of CA. Way too easy to match plate registration to firearms related registration so they know which vehicles to search..
The Shoer 27979 Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I can see that as violating your 4th amendment rights. Just because you go across state lines and own guns does not mean you are buying ammo. I know the first thing I would do is contacting a lawer to file a lawsuit

All part of the plan. Just like back in '04 or '05 when the mandatory lock law was passed, it wasn't until about 2 weeks, maybe even less, before the specifications for the required locks made public. And, gee, it seemed that the only locks that would meet the requirements were made by a company owned by a relative of the author of the bill.
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Looks like I'll be visiting Sportsman's Warehouse this coming week. Hate having to stock up just before Christmas.
