Attica Jack #23953 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 I would have to think really hard, before I took a hacksaw to the barrels. But after the first cut, it does not matter now.
Pat Riot Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 MSRP across the line is $4,999. Hopes dashed against the rocks.
donbouquet Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Wow, my dad still has a Fox SxS in 16 Gauge, early 1950s model. Price has gone up a tad...
Rafe Conager SASS #56958 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 I have my grandpa's old fox/savage 12 gauge that I started sass with. Wonder how much I can get for it? (Not much) Rafe
Cinch Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 It looks a lot like my Ugartechea Model 30's that came from Connecticut Shotgun. Have one in 12 and one in 28 and were around $1250 for the 12 and $1400 for the 28 about 16-17 years ago. Long LOP with checkered butt which was replaced with a pad. The 12 is cast for a righty and the 28 was neutral as they were both supposed to be. My Uggies are great game guns but $3000 or more each would be a little over valued.
Trailrider #896 Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 I wouldn't touch one unless I was wearing white cotton gloves. Otherwise, if I got fingerprints on the barrels, I might have to buy it, and I can't afford one. Also, as I said before and as Texas Lizzard echoed my sentiments, without hammers it just isn't right! (Neither is my Baikal hammerless, but I couldn't find one with 28-inch barrels with hammers.)
Cypress Sam, SASS #10915 Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 I think I'll wait for the more upscale model.
