1964 Santa Rosa Fire

Interesting aircraft at the 2:30 mark.  I thought it was a P-61, as several were fitted out as fire fighters.  On another forum I was corrected and told that it is likely the F-15A Reporter, later designated the RF-61C.  Same basic aircraft without the guns, a new nose, and fitted out for recon.

By the time the Airframe modifications were completed making it a water bomber, It wasn't any of those designations.  Some folks just want to display a certain superiority of knowledge even if at that distance, and film clarity, you can't tell the difference.  All were the same basic Airframe and engines.  A P-61 by any other designation is still a P-61.
