Swift Stoney 49735
I have a friend with over 25 tanned deer skins who wishes to have some of them made into shooting gloves for gifts along with some shirts and jackets. I am familiar with Mike Guli at River Crossing. Can you think of any other folks who might be able to help out.
Sixgun Seamus
Here's a fellow cowboy, Rowdy Red Tailor, stand up guy and deerskin is his business. He makes anything leather that you might need. Top quality work. I have quite a few of his pieces including deerskin gloves. Tell him Seamus sent you. www.custommadesportwear.com

Swift Stoney 49735
Thank you Seamus and Stump Water. I am hoping that my friend will have sympathy and let me have enough leather to make a buckskin shirt.
Slow Mo Dern
Howdy Stoney, What Seamus said! Rowdy Red is the man to see! Don't forget, he makes some pretty nice cowboy vests too! Mo

Swift Stoney 49735
Thank you Alllie Mo. I hope the venture does not prove to be too expensive for my friend to tackle. I told him I have bought a leather skirt and vest from, I think, River Crossing about 10 years back and the cost was in the neighborhood of $500. Since he is supplying the tanned hides it might be a bit less expensive but I would guess the majority of the cost would be in the labor. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
