Yes it is but the problem is just a worrisome.

The current round of 2A infringing firearms laws have all passed because they placed them on a ballot vice passing them through the legislature. In the legislature the odds of overruling the gun control nuts that live within 80 miles of Puget sound not too bad. However when the same measure is placed on a state wide ballot you have the same issue the PRoK has where the urban centers that contain the majority of the states population impose mob rule on the rest of the state.

 

Consider that in Washington State 5 out of 39 counties account for over 60% of the states total population and 4 of those 5 are part of the Seattle Metroplex. With the exception being Spokane County. King county alone accounts for 1/3 of the states population. about 75% of the total population of the state lives within 50 miles of Interstate 5.
