Sedalia Dave Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 The back of the trigger on my 1887 has a sharp hook. This hook keeps catching the leather wrap I have to keep the pivot point between the trigger guard and lever from pinching my hand. I cannot see the purpose of the hook. Does anyone know why it is there? I want to round off the sharp corner but want to be sure it will not cause an issue with the function of the gun.
The Original Lumpy Gritz Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Go to item #4. http://coyotecap.com/gunsmithingsimplified.htm I do not run the strap in the TG on any of our '87s. OLG
