I never make it to the end of a weeknight game as they go way past my bedtime. What a shocker when I got the news this morning. The season has just started, but what a great way to start.

 

I love stories like Hunt's last night. Most rookies probably would have folded after that opening fumble. Apparently he put that play behind him in the way Joe Montana could. Cool.

One of the few remaining advantages to living in California is that night games start at 5:30 or 6:00.

No! That's too bad! That puts KC up in the AFC West!  Now the Broncos have to win on Monday night just to stay even!   And the Rockies have to keep beating the Dodgers, and Milwaukee needs to keep losing. Wild card slot, you know!

Yep, I think they were still riding on the Super Bowl win and being #1 along with it being their home game. But it sure was a dang good win for KC.
