I guess I'll just bring a sack of gold dust and see what I can find. CBaC is Commin' Back at Cha. It's suppose to be the bestest match in Texas, but this will be my first year going so I'll have to defer to the veterans.

Sadly, it looks like I'll have to miss it for the first time since 2010!! Won't get off of my knee scooter 'til first of this week and then I'll need a month or two just to learn to move around again on both feet!! I ain't decided yet, but it don't look good!!

I done told you if we need to push you around the range in a wheelchair, that's what we'll do. I certainly wish I could! I called T-Bone while ago and withdrew. The doctor DID release me today. I've actually been walking to where I needed to go all morning and it's abundantly clear that I'm a LONG way from being able to get around well enough to even walk around the range, much less shoot a match. As much as I love being around everyone and contributing to the fun, I really can't justify driving 1,600 miles and spending a chunk of money that I SHOULD be paying medical bills with, especially if I can't shoot!! I love all of ya' and I'm really gonna' miss it!! I PROMISE that I'll spend some of the time getting myself back in prime shape, physically and financially so's I can get back to hang with all of y'all!!

I just generally shoot with the locals.

I just generally shoot with the locals. BOB!! This is truly a bucket list level match!! It used to be "Comin' At Cha'" the Southwest Regional Championship and it grew to over 400 shooters annually. A couple of years ago, they let the Regional pass to others and took a year off. Last year the plan was to put on a 200 shooter match, mostly by invitation, and upon the public announcement it filled up in just five days or so! They took another bunch over half that many because they were all past participants. It's one of those matches where they make you feel like you belong there and they really want you to come back. Everybody is a VIP!! Last year there was a gun given away every hour that we were shooting and during all of the evening entertainment. It is a one fee pays for everything match with evening meals provided. AND IT'S JUST PLAIN FUN ALL OF THE TIME!!! You would enjoy yourself and I doubt you'd find much that didn't tickle your fancy!! Black Gold, Land Run, Gunsmoke, Ambush at Cavern Cove, and Regulators Reckoning are similar. Black Gold is another bucket list match!! You should get out and visit us at some of these matches. Meeting you is on my bucket list.

BLB iffen ya still got dem 30-06 at giveaway prices look up Sawyer and tell him to pay ya and i'll settle wif him when he gits back to Al.
Badlands Bob #61228 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Brisket sold everything I had except one gun belt that is too small for either me or you. Now, I'm looking for a really skinny cowboy who needs a decent gun belt.
