Buxton Lookout, SASS #40999
Local gun store had a used Euroarms 73 on the shelf. .357 / .38 spl Saddle Ring Carbine. I have grand children coming up to shooting age and could use another 73. I don't know anything about the Euroarms so I am asking the wire what you all think. Do short stroke kits work or are they different than Ubertis? If you have had some experience with them I would like to hear about it. Thanks, Buxton Lookout
Nickel City Dude
Euroarms went out of business 5 to 10 years ago so replacement parts can be an issue.
Goody, SASS #26190
They are smaller guns, about 7/8th the size. I had one that had been worked by Cody Conahger and it was a very nice gun. But as stated, parts are nonexistent and any thing breaks it will have to made to fit. Take your own risks, but I wouldn't give over half what a similar Uberti would bring. Snakebite
The only 1873 Winchester Clone that I would have is the Uberti. Snakebite
Long Johns Wolf
I have two. One carbine (which was converted from .44-40 to .44 Colt), one rifle in .44-40. They are my main match rifles in Classic Cowboy since 2011. The carbine was tuned by by Shotgun Boogy (no short stroke), the rifle just got the factory springs lightened. The Euroarms firing pin is 1-piece like the original was. These Euroarms 73 lever guns are the closest thing to a real 73 you can find. I am looking for one in .357 to be used in Frontier Cartridge.
