The electric company would be there pretty quickly. AT&T would drag their feet and take forever to show up. Often the lines would be blocking the road causing officers to be tied up redirecting traffic. I took a fire axe to a big fat fiber optic cable when they couldn't give me an acceptable ETA. The tires were the first to go, a couple of headlights went out too. The crew chief on the cell phone didn't know what to do. The Police arrived on the scene They came from far and near.
