JM Marlin 1894 SS .44mag/44spl

Recommended Posts

Open for possible trades.

I have a JM Marlin 1894 Stainless Steel with lever wrap, ghost ring sights. I bought the gun from the original owner with a very low round count and I have only taken it out and shot it one day and about 10 rounds. Rifle is absolutely beautiful with checkered stock and forearm.

I am looking to get back into cowboy action shooting I am wanting a good rifle in .45 colt or possibly .357/.38.

Looking for possibly Marlin Cowboy Competition, 1873 or something similar.

At my local Sportsman's Warehouse the new (non JM, non stainless) sells for over 900.00.

the last two to sell on GunBroker went for ove 1100.00 stock.

These are the sights that are on The rifle.

Sorry about the delay. Wish I was on vacation but I have been working.

I didn't post a price because I just wanted to see what was available to trade. I'd rather trade than sell as prices vary state to state but sometimes a good trade can be made.

I'd also possibly interested in Winchester 1886 TD or clone.

May even consider handguns.

This is a really nice and accurate rifle but I do have a few more .44mags.

I found something I want and I will now put a sell price on here.

$1,100

That includes the XS Sight Ghost Ring Sights.

Here are the last to most recent completed auctions for this rifle.

Please pardon my ignorance but what's special about the JM on the Marlin?

JM stamped marlins are more sought after because the quality is generally much better than the ones made by Remington or whoever owns the rights to Marlin now.

Nice Ruger in third pic. What is it? SBH with 3 3/4" barrel?
