Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
On a visit to Orlando, (Snow-Birding), a few years ago, I made a special visit to the gun shop where I knew he was working and had the pleasure of meeting him. Sorry to hear of his passing. I'll say a prayer for him and his family. C.L.Kid
Wicked Willie, SASS#9377
I was somewhat saddened to hear that this crusty ole' entity had passed. Robert and I had an "on again, off again" type relationship. Sometimes I'd rub him the wrong way and sometimes he thought I was a "fun" unique individual. Such is life...but we respected each other. I haven't been around the campfire for a while...but many of the shoots that Robert helped to host provided me with fond memories. Many of my pards have passed on but their influence positively color my memories. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the memorial service, as I'll be preaching that day.
