fun this morning 65 mph wind gusts, pingpong ball sized hail, and 2 inches of rain in 18 minutes

Now to clean up the damage

6 sheets of steel off one barn

18" diamiter branch through the garage roof

Chicken barn and grainary lost most of their shingles.

Old lean to blown over

Still would rather live on our new to us farm than in town....

You stay safe, Evil. Sorry to hear bout your trouble. I am very glad no one was hurt, I hope. Barns and buildings can be fixed. People, not so much sometimes. Wish I could help.

I feel ya!  I love my farm, but you have to be ready. This year we had a lot of storm damage to trees. I spent at least 10 days in clean up already and the last two days I've spent every waking hour cutting and burning. Still have at least five days of just clean up to do. But I wouldn't change it for the world, my neighbors are far enough away that I couldn't shoot them if I wanted to. You give and you take. Pick what's right for you.

Heck no my snow dance would have resulted in at least5 inches of rain and a tornado.

Looks like I'm going to lose my machine shed too.  It split all three center support beams.   Too much damage to fix everything so have to pick and choose what to save.  Oh well we are safe the animals made it through too. Life goes on

Reading about your roof problems ...

... a BRANCH of eighteen inches' diameter?

Hereabouts there aren't many TRUNKS that big!

I can well imagine the weight you're talking!

(Don't like to but I can well imagine it!)
