Rooster Ron Wayne
LQ Jones . I am a Open Top man myself. Im just giving you a heads up. What ever you get Uberti or Pietta . They both have there own issues that will need to be addressed. There are many gun smiths out there who can fix them . I suggest getting some all ready done. Jared at Long Hunters does a fine job on Open Tops and Cap and ball pistols. You can order new ones from Long Hunters all ready done . But if you get them used and not tuned . You will need to get them tuned or you will just keep fighting the guns And keep having issues. Good luck Pard .
Slowhand Bob, 24229
I am thinking you want the new Uberti versions that are actually not related to their cap n ball line. These guns are larger framed and built to use common .38 ammo rather than the custom stuff that has to be loaded for converted .36 caliber guns. LQ Jones
I can do conversions also - I load .38 heeled bullets for some originals of mine. .38 Richards--Mason 1851/1861s or .38 Open Tops would be perfect.

LQ Jones
Hiya Coffin- Sounds like a little more than I'm wanting to get into. Gun rich, cash poor at present - hoping to entice some local horse trading. I'll keep them in mind, they sound sweet ! LQ
