Blackey Cole
We to the county range today took a new sig mpx-c 9mm, my ruger sr556 with the 300 blkout barrel and vortex crossfire I scope, and the big daddy ruger Pro in 308 with the vortex scope . Started with the sig it had a millet red dot cause that's what I had laying around since it came sightless rounds were going everywhere then the battery died old sight got a magpul front sight inroute since I had a rear unused in my parts pag. Probably Willy not put optics on it for what I got it for. Put it away starting at the 25 with the 300 when sighted it in then moved to the 50 and 75 iirc it's ready for 100 and then two hundred before I'm through same with the 308 it's ready for longer ranges then I'll shim it to be able to return to zero after each shoot. We ran out of time today.
Rev. Rufus King, Esq.
I have an MPX that I made into an SBR. I like it very much. It has an Aimpoint PRO on it with a 2 MOA dot. I keep it zeroes at 25 yards, which suits my needs. With 300 Blackout, I figure 200 yards is my maximum hunting range, but it is optimal closer to 100.
