Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438
I thought I'd post this in a new topic; it's likely to get lost in the old one. I got a chance to go shopping in an estate sale type situation. Here's my summary: I toured the house today, as well as a shed. It's a residential hazardous waste site. The smell of decay and garbage and mold and mildew is overwhelming. I was wearing a Tyvek suit and booties, as well as a respirator. There is no way that a junk dealer is going to work in this house. Trash piled to the ceiling. Filth everywhere. You can barely breathe. Probably 20 long gun cases; dozens of handgun cases. 8-10 5 gallon buckets of used brass. An ultrasonic parts cleaner. Two P-W shotgun loaders. A Dillon 1050 with full accessories. A Dillon 550B. 4 or 5 other loaders that I could not identify (I was trying to move quickly to lower my chances of death by bacteria). Two Magma (?) automated bullet casters, on stands, with a tool chest full of molds. A benchtop casting unit. Lead ingots in heaps. Boxes of cast bullets (primarily .452 230 g. flat points). A 2 HP Craftsman air compressor (for air pressure functions on casters?) Two Harleys, both in need of work. A Sportster and ?. A box of assorted used pistol magazines - probably 50 or so. 10,000 Federal small pistol primers (those went home with me). Boxes overflowing with Airsoft pistols and rifles. Need to decide how to handle all this stuff. It's a nightmare that would be a dream if it wasn't a deathtrap. LL

I thought you were going to say "filled with human waste". I've been in a couple houses like that. Probably closer to 20-30 buckets, tho. I'd have much rather been in a house piled to the ceiling with gun stuff, tho. Angus
Finagler 6853 Life
Pick me! I'll go. Once you have cleaned out a hog barn, there isn't much of anything you can't clean out. You learn to hold your breath for real long periods of time.
