Trapdoor!

Got my Trapdoor last Friday at Collectors Firearms in Houston. (if you haven't been there, go when you are in the area, they claim its the largest gun store under one roof in the US)  its an 1873 model, according to the serial # was built in 2nd quarter of 1874, which puts it in the "Custer Range" which means it could have bee at Little Big Horn.  I did notice a very faint "GAC" carved in the stock, then XXXed out and SB carved under it  )

Its a Calvary carbine model, shoots fine. I'm looking forward to shooting it in Plainsman matches and Cody Dixon Single shot.

Its pretty neat shooting an 143 year old gun.

Ah, I see. I forgot that he was there. Just out of curiosity I Googled "who killed custer" - I found this. It;s an interesting read http://www.astonisher.com/archives/museum/who_killed_custer.html
