Here it comes...

That's typical weather here in Wyoming, except we have much higher winds. Since we are few it doesn't even make the national news.

Supposed to be 75 and sunny here on Saturday, come on out and shoot with us.

The weather channel named this storm Stella.

Now is your chance to do your best Brando.

I hope that no one gets hurt or worse, but I could use such a storm to catch up on some reloading.

Another over-hyped "blizzard".  Projection was 18-24" - we got about 8-10".

There was a brief period of "snowthunder", but no visible lightning.

Heaviest dang snow that I've shoveled in some time; it was actually compacting itself due to its own weight.  So dense that I had to use the slowest speed on the blower, and give it time to chew through the snow.  Stopped at the end of each pass up the driveway to re-coat the impeller and the chute with WD-40 - keeping it slippery and unjammed.

I miss Minnesota; first snow around Thanksgiving, and that same snow is still on the ground at Easter.  Around here, it's snow-melt, snow-melt, with lots of mud and salt in between.

We had one of those forecasts for snow and ice a few weeks ago. "Gonna be a big one!" said the weather guessers. Area schools closed the night before the "storm" arrived.

The result was just like J-Bar's picture... <_<

Sheriff declared a class 1 snow emergency.

It was bad in places, it got cold, this mornin' it's about 24.

Yesterday's high was 25.

Didn't get much layin' out for a sun tan done.
