How can I tell a new from old Vaquero?

One obvious difference is the Old Vaquero has they warning label on the side of the barrel instead of the bottom of the barrel (New Vaquero).   Unless they have been removed. I have two New Vaquero’s and only old. I plan on having the warning removed off the Old Vaquero.  Can’t stand the look.  Ruger was wise to hid it under the barrel on the new model.

And the new model has the last three serial numbers engraved on the cylinder.

The front of the cylinder has to be very clean to be able to see or read the numbers.

The new says "New Vaquero" on the side of the frame.

Nothing like digging up a 5 1/2 year old thread.

I wonder how he was able to reply to such an old thread, aren't they ARCHIVED AND CLOSED FOR FURTHER REPLIES after about 4 month?
