Hi Joe,

Alas, there has been no snow in my area. There has been a plethora of rain. I went out Thursday and believe that with the rain since then, I will only be able to get out with Hubby's truck. Our road will be hopelessly rutted. It was really bad Thursday. It isn't due to stop raining until Tuesday!

Regards,

Allie

Last I checked, snow level is still fairly high. 6,000 or so.

Snow out the wazoo

We got a little under 3.5" out of the last one on Thursday and Friday.

Ohio reporting.
Ground saturated, streams running bank full.
Temps high 40s/low 50s.

Uncomfortably anticipating a seasonal, meterologic Sunday punch!

Ah, a weather report from a fellow turd herder! Yep, my plants have been running flat out for two weeks. Every sump pump and leaky pipe joint feeding us. I swear, the entire town would flood if these millions of gallons of water a day didn't make it to my plants.

Wow. Don't send that stuff this way, Allie Mo.

ED: I would post the Mt. St. Helens webcam shot, but it is almost all white

with snow and fog. Last time I looked the dome was still building.

Apparently, if you see it at night you can see the glow of the lava beneath

the dome. Scary stuff for the PNW.

Let's see....no groomed slopes, no rope tow, no ski lift, no trails, no gondola, no staff, no skiis....

Looks like UB will need to improvise.....

Wheeeee!!

Yup. That's a "Hold my beer and watch this" kinda moment.

What could go wrong?

I hate snow.

but....

2017 should be a good year for California wines. ^_^

Hopefully. But too much water is a bad thing for some grapes.

True. But, most snow melt off will be used for irrigation, which has been in short supply. My brother-in-law has a small vineyard in the Sonoma Valley that his uses to make a very nice Pinot Noir. He's happy!
