As I can not figure out how to post a picture to the wire I attached a link to my imgur profile with a picture of one of the Ruger Old Army revolvers that Snake Oil George just finished. I wanted to post this to get some thoughts on it and see what you guys/gals think of them ? I personally love the look of them !!

Look unlike any historically correct C&B revolver I have ever seen. Don't believe they're legal for NCOWS! :P

Always did like engine turning.
Exquisite attention to detail, this is craftsman's grade work!

Come on guys!! You're acting like someone is messing up a valued antique or something.

It's a Ruger. It never was nor never will be "historically correct".

It's a 36 caliber percussion revolver.

I wish I had the coin to do a version of that (some changes) on my ROAs, which have the Belt Mountain quick change base pins in them and Woolf springs.

That's a pretty nice looking ROA.

I have to admit that I always thought that engine turning looked like something more appropriate for the dash of a '63 Impala SS, not an old west revolver.

Thanks every one for the feed back !! we were just wondering what everyone thought of them maybe for some future projects

As you probably suspected, some liked them, some not. To each their own. Personally, I LOVE them!

Depending on how much I like shooting the 5 1/2's vs the 7 1/2's, I may want to send my 7 1/2's to you at some point. I love the contrast. Please bring to landrun. I'll be interested in seeing it in person. Good work, imho.

Blue Mesa shoots a pair of 36 cal ROAs that these boys did. Very nice.
