Weimea, the snowflake cake was over ice, the whiskey is straight up of course.

Thank God. I thought you had fallen and hit your head.

You do have the most interesting ways of spelling my name. :)

Isn't Weimea is the Hillbilly spelling of your name, Waimea. :D

Over in Northern Alabama it's spelled Wai-enema...that's what Skittles told me anyway. :)

Kajun.

According to Lick that spelling came directly from Georgia.

Now I'll have to bring two ropes.

Mongo - That sounds about right.

O.K. everybody- Dessert wars- well, forget what I said before. This years dessert can be anything you can imagine. It just has to include peanut butter and bananas! You got it, the theme for this year?

ELVIS!

Woo! Theres gonna be a whole lotta shakin goin on! If you think about it, he fits cowboy action. He actually played in a couple of westerns.(Charro and Flaming Star) And a hillbilly movie also!(kissin cousins)

I wanna see the best Elvis, The King of rock and roll, outfits for Saturday night. I really expect the B-westerns to really show up in some blingy coveralls! LOL

The majority of folks in SASS grew up with Elvis so I thought, well, no one else has done it, Black Gold will! Yee-ha!

Can't wait.

Snack and grillin wars still Thursday night and dessert and brew Saturday night. Will let you know the times soon.

Thanks to everyone for coming and having fun with us!

Howdy y'all. There has been an Elvis siting right here in our little town! It all happened right out side Pats Burgers, now it was at night and the see'er had been inside most of the night washing down cheese burgers but it was reported. So I guess y'all had better bring your cameras, you never know.

Crawdaddy we got you in. Not shore why you didn't get an email, but you are in. Monica says we almost half full in March looks good.

I talked to the hotel today she said she reserved the names she had on her list, but I would call and double check to be shore.

Crawdaddy'd better be careful a wandering' around at Black Gold!!  With Kajun 'n' Knobby and a few others I won't mention hangin' around, ol' Crawdaddy could end up in somebody's gumbo by mistake!!  :lol::lol:

Anybody thinking of entering dessert wars this year.

Don't bother. Mrs Waimea and I already have the winner.

Just doing some in-house kitchen trials.

We aim to make Elvis proud.
