changing font

Changing the forum's use of fonts would be a forum setting that a moderator might be willing to look for and adjust. Then again, they might not want to spend the time or take the risk of messing the forums up.

Changing fonts in your own posts is up to you - you surely can do that.

Changing fonts in other pard's posts is not in your powers as a forum user.

Most folks when they have problems with their browser showing text so it is readable, punch up the "magnification" of the browser - that would be control + to bump up one step and control - to drop a step on most browsers.

Some browsers let you set the minimum size of fonts displayed, and even what font is used if the web site does not explicitly ask for a particular font to be used. Exploring the advanced settings available in your browser might yield good results.

Good luck, GJ

Charlie wants a font this size!

Yer gettin' old Charlie!

(Me too!)

If the font just needs to be bigger, I do what Garrison Joe sez, push CONTROL +

If I have something I can't read, I copy it and paste it into Word & change the font there.

Stay warm!

I just wish all the text on the forum was the same instead of some light and some dark. I still think the font on all replies is too small.

Here is an example from another forum "I would appreciate any help"

You also try holding down the Ctrl key they hit the + key to enlarge the text and you can make smaller by holding the Ctrl key down while hitting the - key.

These changed are not permanent.

Next time you turn on your computer it will go back to your default settings.

We need this process to change target size. :D:D:D:unsure:

Speaking of fonts. I can't read the cursive font (from my tablet or phone) that some people use on their posts. When I see it, I just move on,

Anybody else have that a problem?

Yep, I can't read it either.

Unless I think it might be an important post, I move on.

If I really want to read it, I copy & paste into Word.

The reason I asked that on another forum I am a member of when they updated the default was small font size in posts. I questioned it and the

moderator changed it for me and several other members to a larger size. This forum must not have that option.
