Probably swallowed something like soap or some other chemical to get a vacation away from prison. They say only the good die young and I tend to believe that, given that this vile snake is still breathing air. Leslie Van Houten, One of the killers in the Manson-inspired Tate/LaBianca murder spree, was, very recently, recommended for parole, however CA Governor Jerry Brown denied the recommendation (today I think). So, Charlie's girl stays locked up. -----Edit--- Oh! By the by!! Remember Squeaky Fromme, another of Charlie Manson's girls? Lynette (Squeaky) Fromme, who tried to gun down President Gerald Ford with a .45acp 1911 in 1975, was released on parole in 2009. We haven't heard a squeak out of her since then.
