Specific holster type question

Has anyone ever seen a belt holster for a SAA that sits outside the waistband horizontally, grip up? Not for CAS use but for other carry. Was curious if there is such a creature around or if one needed to be specially ordered.

That would NOT be comfy sit'n down in a chair.

On horseback, maybe. Shoulder holster would be far better IMO.

The problem with SOB/MOB holsters is if you Slip/Slip Fall. If you land on your back there is a good chance that you'll break a vertebra or worse. I understand a lot of Police Departments will not allow officers to carry handcuffs tucked into the belt in the back for that very reason.

They are also not very comfortable to wear while driving.
