Pat Riot Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I was going to go on a Polar Bear run today but it was raining this morning. The sun peeked out a bit this afternoon so I took a ride on my Vulcan anyway. It was 38 degrees and I went about 35 miles on country roads around my new home town here in Oregon. It was actually really nice until the clouds rolled back in and covered the sun up again. That last few miles was a bit nippy. Been back about 40 minutes now and I can feel my fingers again. I love riding a bike. Quote
Calamity Kris Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Sounds like you had a great time. Glad you could enjoy it. 1 Quote
Rooster Ron Wayne Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Hopefully the dont put Salt on the road there . It eats chrome and its really hard to get off under the fenders. Hear in Michigan . I wont ride my bikes till after the firsf good rain . Have a Happy New Year :-) Quote
Pat Riot Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 You too Rooster. No, they don't use salt here...at all. Even if the roads are iced for days and people are stranded. It's bad for the "environment", dontcha know... Quote
