Alpo Posted December 31, 2016 Share Posted December 31, 2016 This is simply my opinion, but - SNAFU is a WW2 term. "Private Ryan" to the contrary, FUBAR did not exist. First time I ever heard the term was in the late 70s. That and BOHICA. I believe the terms are, pretty much, interchangeable. They're just from different generations.
