Looking for a Ruger Blackhawk in 45 LC, with 7-1/2 inch barrels.

Must be in good condition, and reasonably priced.

Would also consider a 41 Magnum

No dog in this hunt, but a user on the Ruger Forum just listed an SS Old Model Vaquero with 7.5" barrel. Has had some action polishing, Wolff springs and a nice set of Eagle Rosewood grips. He wants $600 FTF in Jackson, MS or $650 shipped FFL to FFL in lower 47 (no Cal shipments)

Just an FYI, Texan to Texan

Not interested in a Vaquero. Want adjustable sights. The gun will not be used in CAS, and a high degree of accuracy is needed.

Kid,

Although not often seen anymore, there are also some SuperBlackHawk 'Hunter' models out there in .45 Colt. These are stainless with 7.5" barrels.

Ruger still offers the SBH Hunter models in .44 Mag.

I have one of the SHB Hunters in .45 Colt and they are beautiful to shoot.

What do you consider a reasonable price?

Depends on the gun, and it's condition. Do you have one to sell?? If so tell me about it and the asking price.

I might have one. Depends on your reasonable price.

Describe it to me and state your asking price. A picture or two might help. All I cab say is yea or nea.

Did they do this with the "regular" grip frame? I know they did some in Bisley configuration and I've been looking for one ever since, all I find are the 44's. They make/made a lot of variations, so it wouldn't surprise me.

FIREBALL,

YES, my SBH 'Hunter' has the standard plow handle grip frame. The grip panels are the real pretty greenish/black laminate.

Mine is in .45 Colt and it was factory at 7.5". BUT, I had Mag Na Port cut it to roughly 5.5" to be even with the ejector shroud.

Its a slobbernocker to shoot, especially with some the hot stuff.
