The helmet alone is worth it, but the beer is awesome, just like good Belgian beer.

To hear how 19 year old Vince Speranza survived the Battle of the Bulge, and the encirclement of Bastogne, and was able to return to see his foxhole and machine gun nest, was truly remarkable.

Then, a little bit of humor really added to the story of how he found some beer and carried it in his helmet to his wounded friend laying on the floor of a bombed out Church, added to the amazing story.

I am sure there must have been a hundred stories like this that came out of WWII, along, of course with all the horrible ones. We will never know.
