Recently purchased an alpha(1959) Bearcat with significant timing issues

Who would you recommend?

Self nominations welcome :)

Howdy an Merry Christmas Pard,

I do have a recommendation and its probably NOT what you want to hear.

Sell it and buy a new Bearcat shopkeeper.

The shopkeepers are timed perfect and no classic ruger drag mark at all.

Your bearcat is worth a fair buck, shipping each way and money for the actual

work will all add up.

And the new shopkeeper is pretty cool.

Just a thought pard.

I don't think a new shopkeeper model would add anything to my collection of Alpha Cats,

As a collector, however, I don't want anything in my collection that is not functional.

I have a Conservative set of shopkeepers .

Nice guns.

But the original Bearcats and Supper Bearcats are worth a pretty penny.

I would recomend Ruger for your repais .

They have done repairs for me in the past

100% satisfied with there work.

If sent back to Ruger, they will not work on it without converting it to a transfer bar system

Ruger returns the original parts. The conversion does not modify the gun and is reversible.

Yes, but if any of the original arts are part of the problem, then if returned to original configuration, I will still have a non-functional gun.

Howdy,

OR if ya think about it and you have several originals in your collection then

wouldn't a converted one ADD to your collection?

Alpha Cat?

So I guess I have an alpha cat? Cool....

Did u call Coyote Cap yet?
