Howdy,

There are really only three all out football games a year.

The Bears at Green Bay, Packers at Chicago, and the Superbowl.

All the rest are good practice.

Sunday at NOON, the time God meant football to be played,

the Bears and the Packers will play in weather forcast for minus 20 F.

If you have never been there Soldier Field is right on lake Michigan.

Which should more accurately be named Michigan Ocean.

Even on a screaming hot summer august day it is cooler near the lake.

Give that, if you only see one football game, see this one.

I suggest HOT chili or pizza or hot mex type chow to go with the game.

A wide open stadium, byob.

Yep. I stocked up on my snacks and am ready for tomorrows game.

This is a must win for my Packers if they are going to get into the playoffs although they won't be going to the Superbowl. The passing game should be interesting trying to throw and catch that rock solid football.

We have a cure for that.......

That might rank up there with the Vikings when they played at the old Metropolitan Stadium.

Bud Grant wouldn't allow sideline heaters during the games... wanted his players tough!

(Come to think of it... he even made his players practice for standing at attention for the Anthem.)

He was a duck hunter also. Maybe that was a holdover from his recreation preference.

Duck hunters are a little different.

One of the funniest thing I ever saw in the stands of a football stadium was last year.

Packers were playing the Bears in Green Bay. The stands were full of cheese wedges

on folks heads, as at most Packers games. Here are two fellows, each with a cheese grater on

their head. Obviously Bears fans. They also had the look of SOME ALCOHOL WAS INVOLVED.

ED: The confuser sez that the temperature at Soldier Field is +6 degrees Fahrenheit, this morning.
