looking for 35 year old 410

a friend wants a couple of 35-40 year old 410 single or double shotguns to pass down to his grandchildren. he does not mind worn finish or wood as he is willing to make them pretty again. He's a farmer by trade so does not want to go broke buying them.

There are so many single barrel models out there.Not so many S X S.Really need to put what he is looking for.Brands very in price a lot.Saw a marlin S X S just the other day that sold for $1400.00. Some singles go for as little as $40.00.

i think the 100 range is more to his liking. give or take a little.

You will not find many sxs 410 for that price even the stevens go for 800-900 range. A stoeger will go for about 300-400 range. Bullett 19707

Bought my son a yildiz 410 side by side new that came with 5 choke tubes last fall

I think it came from academy sports. Less than 500 new with selectable barrel for first shot I couldn't buy it fast enough

bolt action Mossberg is what I cut my teeth on, great gun usually at a great price...
