A friend is considering buying the Talo Ruger Short Spur Vaquero. Has anyone seen these used in a SASS match? What is the "Short Spur" about?

It is a New Vaquero with an original Vaquero hammer.

Yep, it was a special run made for the Cowboy Fast Draw Association. Just a simple hammer change. Pretty much old school and not done much anymore now that pretty much everyone is using SBH hammers.
