We have just learned that the Illowa Irregulars' former TG Trader Dave passed away this morning after a long illness. Dave was my mentor when I first came into Cowboy Action. He took me under his wing, introduced me to "the power of the darkside," and eventually passed the TG baton to me. Although he hasn't been able to shoot in a while, his presence has been felt at every match, as he was the driving force behind the construction of Camden Mills, our cowboy town.

Arrangements are pending. I will post them as they become available.

I have added a link to Dave's obituary and visitation information.

I think perhaps it would be appropriate to consider a "yellow shirt day" in honor of Trader Dave at the Illowa Irregulars' first monthly shoot in April '17. We can discuss this at our annual cowboy meeting Jan. 15.

We've been missing his bright shirts and dry sense of humor. He will be missed.

His idea of a bear hunt was with a bow. Never saw him at a match during bear season.

Trader Dave will be missed..

He and his shooting partner/ wife Ragen Rajean were in this sport when I first got started..

Loved shooting on their posse.. Always fun..

I always looked up to them and loved their sense of humor and laughter..

Prayers up for Rajean and their family..

Lord... Ya got a good one here..

Dave was exactly the kind of person this sport needs more of. I think I'll buy me a yellow shirt

Perhaps someone could submit his info.

Cowboy Memorial Site

Will be done as soon as we get everything taken care of. I really appreciate the site, but it seems to me I have had to make too many submissions in the last couple of years.
